courage可数吗

courage是不可数名词，有“勇气”、“胆量”、“无畏”的意思。与动词have，lack等连用时，其前常加定冠词the，与take，lose等连用时一般不加定冠词the。

courage的用法

1.have/lack the courage of your convictions

有（没有）勇气做自己认为正确的事

Eg：You lack the courage of your convictions. Do it!

你对自己的信念没勇气，去做吧！

2.take courage (from sth.)

（因某事而）鼓起勇气

Eg：

Be strong and let your heart take courage.

要坚强并让你的内心充满勇气。

3.take your courage in both hands

鼓起勇气（做自己害怕做的事）；敢作敢为

Eg：

Taking her courage in both hands, she opened the door and walked in.

她壮着胆打开门，走了进去。

4.screw up your courage

鼓起勇气

Eg：

I finally screwed up my courage and went to the dentist.

我终于鼓起勇气，去看了牙医。
