In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved.

I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

（二）My Friend我的朋友

I’m Lisa ,Lily is my best friend.I have long straight hair.She has short curly hair.Both of us like singing and dasncing .We like to do the same things.But we also have some differences,She is more outgoing than me,She is good at sports and I am good at schoolwork.She is also funnier than me and often makes me laugh.I am very happy to be fiends with her.

（三）The visit to the Great Wall参观长城

My name is Xiaoming and I like traveling very much. Last summar， I went to the Great Wall with my family.

It was fine that day. We went there by bus early in the morning. When we got there， there were many other visitors there. When my family and I went onto the Great Wall， we saw beautiful scenery. We all were amazed by how beautiful it was. We took quite a few photos there.

We had a good time there. The time flew by， and soon we had to go back. I was tired after traveling， but I really enjoyed visiting the Great Wall！

Summer is my favorite season,because I can swim quite often. The third one is autumn. In autumn, the weather is cool and comfortable. Farmers may be the busiest people, because autumn is a time of harvest.Winter is the last season of the year. In winter, the weather is very cold. In the north, it usually snows.
